Infrastructure

Nicaragua is one of the world's most beautiful countries, but access to this untouched beauty is sometimes impossible. Infrastructure includes roads, telecommunications, water and drainage - all services that are largely nonexistent in rural Nicaragua.

NICA's mission is to improve this infrastructure to give rural areas greater access to large cities and the global economy. In addition to access, NICA hopes to improve the quality of life for those who live in rural communities by upgrading existing services.

NICA is currently researching the different options available for the installation of Internet service, paved roads, a drainage system and improved water distribution.
